An Account Director is responsible for supporting Galileo clients with the objective of renewing and growing the relationship. They are the business relationship owner for Galileo’s top clients.

Bring data and insights to elevate our partnerships; help our clients succeed in growing their business.

  • Client:
    • Own the strategy to drive revenue growth for each client
    • Manage client forecasts and address deviation through a playbook of partner suggestions based on previous learnings and market indicators
    • Be a consultant to the client: Provide comparative benchmarks to industry, and bring broad GTM expertise to support their objectives
    • Assist with any client escalations
    • Manage any necessary legal/contractual discussions or financial negotiations
    • Determine account potential and areas of growth (more effective use of existing products or addition of new products and services)
  • Relationship Management
    • Partner with the relationship management team (who manages day to day client operations and relationships) to 
      • create holistic account plans and communicate to the clients
      • jointly drive monthly and/or quarterly business reviews to provide additional value and track client success
    • Marketing: Partner with clients & Galileo marketing to surface and partner on content/PR opportunities
    • Sales/Finance/Legal: Collaborate with various teams to align on pricing/contract related discussions
    • Product: Identify potential product needs by studying current business and partner with Product to communicate those needs for consideration


  • +5 years experience in managing strategic client relationships that include objective setting, account planning and renewal/upsell with clear revenue targets
  • Experience in strategy/management consulting preferred
  • Strong presentation, communication, and executive management skills required
  • Incredibly strong cross-functional partnership experience and approach. At Galileo, there are several functions involved in serving our clients - there’s no single owner. 
  • Experience in payments industry strongly preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a mani or analytical discipline
