ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
The Account Director is a trusted advisor to Nordic clients, building strong relationships and providing responsive delivery of Nordic services. This position includes managing and developing business opportunities, analyzing client business challenges, identifying and aligning solutions to those challenges, and providing the highest quality of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
The Account Director will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating, developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Analyzing client needs and identifying the best match of consultants and Nordic's business line services to address those needs
  • Foreseeing, identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities
  • Creating customized proposals in response to RFP and solution requests
  • Coordinating client engagement needs with other members of the Client Partnerships team
  • Owning coordination of sales artifact preparation and delivery
  • Providing client executive sponsorship and oversight as needed
  • Creating and adhering to internal documentation guidelines to track and maintain client leads, account plans, client communications, and client contacts in CRM and ensuring its compliance
  • Accountability for client contract compliance
  • Traveling to customer sites and conferences to generate new business opportunities and relationships, and enhance current client relationships
  • Responsible for ensuring overall client happiness and success
  • Working on business operations projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis, and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested



Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare IT market, with specific focus in the EHR consulting market
  • Epic System experience preferred, including applications, implementations, and support
  • Experience working in a solutions-oriented environment where anticipation of client needs is a frequent occurrence
  • Demonstrated ability in conceptualizing both problems and solutions, and converting concepts to actions in a way that is compelling for clients and actionable by team members
  • Able to identify key impacts and implications of new information and events
  • Proven success in customer service or account management, preferably in a professional services sales capacity
  • Experience utilizing a strong customer service attitude and skill set
  • Experience successfully managing a sales territory, including forecasting, opportunity and account management, sales strategy, solutions and value-based selling, and financial reviews



Additional Details

  • Travel up to 60% of the time
  • Must be accessible and available to perform work functions at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays
