This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports division, which is comprised of technology platforms, such as SportsEngine, GoMotion, TourneyMachine, and TeamUnify that enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families.

As an Account Development Representative (ADR), you will be responsible for ensuring customer retention, increased product adoption and account expansion. This includes hunting for leads, mapping customer accounts, and building demand for SportsEngine's full line of products and services. This position is ideal for individuals who are self starters and results-driven.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage and consult with sports administrators to help them identify meaningful ways to improve their organizations with SportsEngine software.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the industry, sports administrators, our sales strategy, and leverage provided tech stack to execute high touch, high-quality activity cadence resulting in 80+ customer interactions daily.
  • Understand the prospective customer or current customer, identifying opportunities and planning a creative and targeted approach for growth with accounts at every possible interaction
  • Create interest with customers directly via telephone and email learning about their challenges, position our products as solutions, and create new selling opportunities.
  • Own your results. Unwavering personal daily effort standards so that coaching centers around goals, sales skills & career growth.
  • Continue to gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and SportsEngine as both a technical and business fit.
  • Collaborate with other departments and functions to support assigned territory and facilitate the overall success of the team.
  • Maintain accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce.com and sales engagement / automation platforms such as Intercom or Outreach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications/Requirements

- Demonstrated hunter-like mentality and the exceptional ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-activity sales environment
- 1+ years experience selling
- Experience maintaining a high level of daily prospecting sales activities, including cold calling
- Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
- Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
