The Opportunity at Apixio:

We’re seeking a talented Sales Operations Specialist to help support Apixio’s commercial growth. This role reports to the Sales Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in supporting our sales and marketing teams, helping manage our RFP and sales proposal process, maintaining sales and marketing KPI analytics, and assisting with CRM data integrity efforts. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our growth, by collaborating with Apixio’s growth team to maintain and create processes, as well as provide analytics that drive actionable insights.

What You Will Own:

As the Sales Operations Specialist at Apixio, you’ll support the optimization of sales effectiveness, enforce RFP & sales proposal discipline, enhance our proposal-to-closed deal process, and other duties that align with the function.

Day to day, you will:

  • Manage the organization and upkeep of the RFI/RFP content library within Loopio.
  • Act as point person for Apixio’s responses to incoming RFI/RFPs, utilizing Loopio to complete submissions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their operational needs and help achieve their goals.
  • Utilize CRM ( to partner with Sales, Client Success & Customer Operations teams to maintain accurate forecasting and customer revenue history.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities and create reports to track progress and performance.
  • Assist with master data management within Salesforce to ensure Growth KPI metrics remain as accurate and up-to-date as possible.
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities. 
  • Support Marketing on audience segmentation, revenue attribution, and direct marketing campaigns. 
  • Create and manage training materials, SOPs and job aids.
  • Provide training and support to growth team personnel on sales operations processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc responsibilities as needed to support the Growth Team and Sales Operations Manager.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field / experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, operations management, or business development preferred.
  • Proficient in CRM software ( preferred), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with understanding sales & marketing data, lead gen workflow and strategies will be pivotal.
  • Experience with marketing automation software is a plus.
  • Experience with Loopio, or other RFP management software, is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize projects.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The salary range below is for Base Salary.  Total compensation also includes benefits and variable compensation.  Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.

Base Compensation

$90,000$130,000 USD
