The Opportunity 

We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Director to design, implement, and optimise sales processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and revenue growth. This role ensures the sales organisation operates effectively by managing systems, data, and processes, while providing strategic support across bid management, contract administration, and CRM implementation. 


The Specifics   

  

Sales Process Design and Optimisation 

  • Define, document, and implement standardized sales processes across the organisation. 
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure sales effectiveness and pipeline health. 
  • Continuously review and refine processes to improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles. 

CRM Implementation and Management 

  • Lead the deployment and adoption of HubSpot CRM, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. 
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making. 
  • Train and support sales teams on CRM best practices and usage. 

Bid and Proposal Management  

  • Oversee the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. 
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to align proposals with commercial and contractual requirements. 
  • Maintain a repository of proposal templates and best practices for efficiency. 

Contract Management Support 

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and tracking customer contracts in collaboration with legal and finance teams. 
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain accurate records. 

Data and Reporting  

  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to leadership. 
  • Analyse pipeline trends, forecast accuracy, and sales performance to inform strategic decisions. 

Cross Functional Collaboration  

  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals. 
  • Support sales enablement initiatives, including onboarding and training programs. 

What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you): 


  • Strong understanding of sales operations and process optimisation. 
  • Expertise in HubSpot CRM (implementation and administration). 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally. 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Proven experience in sales operations or a similar role within a B2B environment. 
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred). 
  • Familiarity with bid management and contract administration processes. 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience).
