The Role
As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our restaurant services group. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the overall brand strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's future, with the potential to shape and influence key decisions. Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5 sales professionals, providing guidance and support to drive individual and team performance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve short-term and long-term revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, identifying potential threats and opportunities.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to team members, conducting performance evaluations and offering development opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, promoting the brand and establishing new connections.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining high ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring sales teams, with a history of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track and analyze sales performance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, as required by the nature of the role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
