The Role

Responsibilities

1. Sales and Account Management

  • Development of sales plans and strategies for Surgical Consumables product in Indonesia
  • Ensure growth of market share for IOL (intra ocular lens) consumables
  • Conduct business reviews with install base and grow share of wallet for consumables through account development plans for existing install Base.
  • To increase IOL and Surgical Consumables conversion rates for existing accounts
  • Achieve and exceed sales and financial targets for Surgical Consumables product in Indonesia.
  • Manage area/territory to ensure existing and potential markets are well-covered to secure market share and market penetration.
  • Work and coordinate with distributorship to ensure processes are well handled to minimize complain from the market.

2. Marketing

  • Implement marketing strategies for Surgical Consumables product in Indonesia.
  • Analysis, evaluate, monitor and make necessary improvements for Surgical Consumables from inventory to Post-Operation timeline.
  • Develop and engage with Key Opinion Leaders within the SUR business sector.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement marketing activities such as product launches, round table discussions as well as workshops to grow the Surgical Consumables product in Indonesia.

3. Market and Competitor Analysis and Growth

  • Provide market and competitor analysis for Indonesia.
  • Accountability for the growth of IOL and Surgical Consumables sales in Indonesia market
  • Provide all appropriate reporting to the Business Managers including but not limited to clinic performance, feedback, and competitor movements from customers on a weekly and monthly reports.

4. Build high performance team

  • Provide guidance and direction to the Sales & Application Specialist team.
  • Develop team competency to align with ZEISS competency model.
  • Drive and monitor team performance to ensure they are meet set target.
  • Be role model and ensure the collaboration with all of ZEISS employee.

Requirement:

1. Education / Professional Certification

  • University Degree in Optometry, Business Administration, Marketing or any related field

2. Experience

  • Minimal 7 to 10 years of experience in Sales Management / Business Development in the medical device industry, preferably with demonstrated sales experience with medical consumables and capital equipment

3. Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent influencing and leadership skills
  • High customer orientation
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Selling skills & account management skills
  • B2B, B2C, B2B2C as well D2C marketing skills.
  • Strong strategic orientation and commercial acumen.
