The Sales Intern will support the Americas Automotive Account Management team by assisting with customer strategy execution, opportunity tracking, and business reviews. Responsibilities can include preparing promotional materials, analyzing market and competitor data, performing TAM/SAM assessments, and learning Renesas systems for supply chain and forecasting. The role offers hands-on exposure to semiconductor sales processes, collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams, and participation in technical solution demonstrations for automotive applications.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a B.S. (or M.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Must not have graduated before September 2026.
  • Technical background with the ability to present solutions internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical/problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills; proactive, detail‑oriented, and accountable team contributor.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for marketing purposes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM or marketing automation tools is a bonus.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (social media, email platforms) is a plus.
  • Exposure to MCU/SoC/analog/power device categories and basic knowledge of the automotive electronics/semiconductor landscape.
  • Familiarity with sales operations/forecast tools or supply‑chain concepts in semiconductors.
