We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director for our Google account, to join the CU Regional Carriers and Hyperscale Cloud Providers team. This role will be high energy and high exposure. The role will be responsible for selling new and cutting-edge solutions to one of the largest Cloud providers in the world. The role will require creativity, fast-paced learning and on-the-fly problem solving while also needing a strategic mind to deliver on critical customer and Ericsson requirements and solutions. The engagement is at the forefront of technology with industry leading network topology solutions at the edge and data centers driven by rapid expansions of AI. You should have strong knowledge of our Managed Services portfolio offering and how these solutions should and can be implemented technically and commercially at Google.
Your passion to win and bring value to both Ericsson and Google are essential. You will be responsible for generating long-term profitable business by driving the creation and execution of sales account & engagement plans, and courageous leadership in an ambiguous market.
Success in this role requires the individual to develop trusted customer relationships to identify needs, and working closely with key stakeholders, develop successful propositions that demonstrate the outstanding differentiation of Ericsson solutions.
This role reports to the Head of Hyperscale Cloud Provider Sales, and is located in Santa Clara, California.
What you will do:
- Orchestrate the sales engagement, from inception to deal closure for our business to generate profitable sales and develop longer term business.
- Influence Customers vision & strategy, drive Ericsson's involvement in crafting customer visions, strategies & requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop & manage an opportunity pipeline, lead the sales funnel, forecast and growth plans.
- Achieve defined sales targets and supply overall profitability, success and positive image of Ericsson towards Google.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in agreed account plan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders with customers and internally.
- Lead negotiations and close deals involving Managed Services, private cellular networks (e.g., LTE, 5G), and neutral host deployments.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design customized solutions that meet client requirements.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Science or similar.
- 7+ years of experience of relationship sales or service delivery within the ICT industry.
- Proven experience in business development or sales leadership in Managed Services
- Strong ability of value-based selling using supply chain domain expertise and Ericsson global presence
- Understanding of neutral host business models and multi-operator network sharing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and product teams.
- A good track record of meeting/ exceeding targeted objectives.
- Self-starter, respectful negotiator and confident closer with multi-tasking ability.
- Outstanding presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication proficiencies.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
• Santa Clara: $ 173,000- $226,800
Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
