At Axis, we believe in independent thinking and a vibrant, multicultural workplace. We are seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work hand-in-hand with our Inside Sales and Account Executive teams, and other sales and marketing functions, to fuel our regional growth.

This role is perfect for a Business Development professional based in Melbourne, who thrives on Lead Generation and Pipeline Management.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Demand Generation Operations, APAC.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation: Qualify inbound leads and execute outbound sales campaigns to drive new business.
  • CRM Management: Maintain Salesforce data integrity, ensuring all account and contact data is validated.
  • Partner Activation: Activate dormant partner accounts and verify newly registered partners in the leads portal.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends and generate high-quality leads for Account Executives.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Drive Learning Management System (LMS) activities and represent Axis at B2B marketing events and AEC visits.

What You Bring

  • Experience: at least 3 years in Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Business Development roles.
  • Local Expertise: Currently based in Melbourne Australia with a strong track record in the local market.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.io.
  • Sales Skills: Proven success in prospecting, booking high-volume meetings, and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Education/Communication: Strong English communication skills to engage with leads and collaborate with the rest of the team, and a solid grasp of sales methodologies.
