About The Role:

We’re seeking our first Sales Development Manager (official title: "Sales Development Manager, SpendHound") to join our SpendHound team, playing a key role in expanding this new initiative by growing and developing a team of Sales Development Representatives (“SDR”).

This position is located in NYC, and the requirement is for you to work at the office for three (3) days each week. 

As Our Sales Development Manager, You Will:

  • Oversee the Sales Development function and take ownership of its success
  • Leverage the learnings we’ve developed with our full sales cycle reps to enhance effectiveness and increase impact across all current channels - cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn messaging/videos
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and the Sales Associate team to generate net new opportunities to meet and exceed our New Customer targets
  • Establish an inbound sales process that effectively converts prospect interest into viable opportunities
  • Own the development of outbound content and copy across calling scripts, emails, and LinkedIn messages
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to scale the Sales Development team
  • Coach and support team members to continually develop their skills
  • Fully own the outcome of the team
  • Maintain high levels of performance across the team 

You Are Likely To Succeed If You Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience managing a team of SDRs/BDRs
  • Successful experience as an SDR/BDR for 1-2 years before transitioning to a managerial role
  • A track record of not only meeting, but also exceeding targets and leading great teams
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm for building something with flexible structure
  • Experience building SDR processes and structure
  • A hands-on and proactive approach to personal development and coaching
  • Adaptability, dynamism, and enjoyment or working in a fast-paced environment
  • A data-driven sales approach and the ability to quickly identify challenges and opportunities across a scaling team
  • A collaborative mindset and motivation to contribute to company’s success
  • Familiarity with sales efficiency and outreach tools

  • The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be up to $240,000 On-Target-Earning ($140,000 Base + $100,000+ Uncapped Bonus). The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
  • This position will be located in NYC, and the requirement is for you to work at the office for three (3) days each week.
