Job Description

Job Summary

Renesas Electronics Taiwan are currently seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory Compliance & Liaison: Act as the primary contact for the company on OSH matters, engaging with government authorities and ensuring full compliance with Taiwan’s OSH regulation.
  2. Safety Committee Management: Serve as the secretary for the OSH Committee, responsible for organizing quarterly meetings, recording minutes, and tracking the execution of action items.
  3. Multi-site Coordination: Oversee and coordinate all OSH activities, documentation, and programs for Renesas' five office in Taiwan, ensuring consistent application of safety requirement.
  4. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain OSH policies, procedures, and guidelines for Renesas Taiwan, ensuring alignment with both local regulations and global EHS policies, guidance and standards.
  5. Risk Management & Audits: Conduct regular internal OSH audits, risk assessments, site inspections, and performance evaluations to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
  6. & Communication: Develop and deliver OSH training for all local employees; maintain and update the internal OSH website and other communication channels to promote safety awareness.
  7. Safety & Health Share Point: update and maintain Share Point on Taiwan GA website.
  8. Corporate Policy Alignment: report and align Renesas global policy and guidance.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Associate degree or above, preferably in Environmental Safety or Occupational Safety-related fields.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in basic administrative tasks and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);  Willing to learn and take initiative, strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit;  Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of effective time management;  Certified Occupational Safety and Health Administrator (or equivalent license);  Additional certifications such as Fire Safety Manager or First Aid are a plus

Language Proficiency:  Fluent in Mandarin; basic English reading and writing skills are a plus.
