The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a role based in Bengaluru, India, to support and enhance our Renewals team.The Renewals Specialist will own a portfolio of Poppulo client accounts and manage the end-to-end contract renewal process. Your role will be critical in maintaining customer relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring renewals are completed with precision and timeliness. You will collaborate with internal teams to optimize the renewal process and contribute to the overall success of the Customer Success department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.  Should be flexible to work in regular UK shifts

Key Responsibilities 

  • Renewals Management - Oversee the entire renewal cycle, from quote creation to contract finalization, ensuring that renewals are completed well before contract end dates. 
  • Administrative Excellence - Manage all administrative aspects of the renewal process, including reviewing previous contracts, generating accurate quotes, and creating precise order forms. Ensure all contract documentation is accurate and up-to-date. 
  • Upsell Identification  - Collaborate with the Sales team to identify upsell opportunities by analyzing product usage data and customer needs. Work proactively to maximize account value and contribute to overall revenue growth. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Partner with Customer Success, Account Managers, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure renewals are aligned with both customer expectations and internal business objectives. Help streamline processes for improved efficiency. 
  • Customer Engagement  - Conduct renewal calls and meetings with key stakeholders, nurturing long-lasting relationships and ensuring customers fully understand their contract options. Proactively address customer concerns and seek to add value at every touchpoint. 
  • Target Achievement - Meet and exceed renewals targets in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Maintain a high level of performance while managing multiple accounts and deadlines. 
  • Issue Resolution & Inquiries  - Act as a point of contact for customers, resolving any issues related to annual and multi-year subscription contracts efficiently and accurately. Ensure that any inquiries are addressed in a timely manner. 
  • Contribute to Company Culture  - Uphold Poppulo’s values and contribute to promoting an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative workplace. Play an active role in fostering a positive team culture. 

Requirements for Success 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Previous experience in IT or SaaS environments is preferred. 
  • Proficient in using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage renewals processes and customer data. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging targets and deadlines in a dynamic environment. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new tools.
