Join our dynamic Prudential Group Insurance team as a Regional Relationship Manager. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Account Managers who strategically consult with small market-sized employers ranging from 100-499 employees. This role is focused on customer retention, add issue generation and achievement of our financial and service goals for the U500 segment in client management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the execution of the Premier segment relationship management strategy within their assigned region supporting customers with less than 500 lives and varying complexities.
• Attract, retain, and develop top Account Manager talent, offering direct coaching and overseeing account management activities for customers with 100-499 employees.
• Collaborate with the Regional Vice President and Regional Account Director to achieve or surpass annual financial objectives for persistency, profitability, and revenue growth.
• Foster strong relationships with internal business partners, sales executives, brokers, customers, and third-party administrators to ensure high-quality service, customer satisfaction, persistency, and profitability.
• Support Premier Account Managers with daily customer and producer engagements, assist with escalations, and participate in annual business planning and reviews to understand regional dynamics, books of business, and producer/customer relationships.
• Active participation and engagement in regional summit, strategic projects, and initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Proven leadership experience in account management, preferably within the financial or insurance sector.
• Knowledge and understanding of pricing and general underwriting concepts
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Outstanding skills in building relationships and effective communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to collaborate across various teams and departments to achieve common goals.
• Active Group Life and Health Insurance license or obtained within 30 days of hire.
> Manage a small portfolio of clients on a direct basis (ten or less)
• Minimum of 25% travel required

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,300.00 to $166,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
  • Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
