Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Manager in Project (QMP) to join our organization in Silao de la Victoria, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Represents Quality Management of the BA in the development project
- Develop, establish, and communicate quality standards, procedures, and best practices for all project phases
- Provide independent quality assurance of work products and processes in the area of product and process development
- Escalation of process/product deviations and issues according to the defined escalation path
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, performance indicators, and key performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
- Investigate quality issues, root causes, and non-conformances; implement corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, records, and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to resolve quality concerns and optimize processes
- Prepare and present quality status reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to IATF/ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications throughout project execution
- Train and mentor project team members on quality procedures, standards, and best practices
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- The scope of the QMP: Ensure Quality of all areas related to product and production process development
**Required Skills and Experience:**
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering.
- 5 years of experience across quality areas.
- Knowledge in IATF Customer specific requirements.
- Proven experience in projects launch, quality assurance in production, or quality customer management.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (IATF 16949).
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and quality metrics interpretation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality procedures and documentation.
- Structured Problem Solving, using different methodologies ( Six sigma) Risk Management, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, Change Management, Lessons Learned, MSA, PLC, Product Integrity).
- Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish).

- Experience managing customer portals (Ford, GM, Stellantis, Nissan,Honda).
- Project management experience or familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with quality management software and tools.
