About the Role
As Quality Manager, you’ll oversee all QA/QC activities at the Girvan site, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and regulatory requirements. You’ll lead audits, manage documentation, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead site quality systems and ensure ISO9001, FSSC22000, and GMP compliance.
- Manage audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections.
- Oversee training in hygiene, food safety, and GMPs.
- Handle complaints, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation and calibration of quality-critical equipment.
- Support regulatory declarations and customer information requests.
- Experience in quality management within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory compliance.
- Skilled in audits, documentation, and team leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Experience with pharmaceutical excipient GMPs and FSMA compliance.
- Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
