This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to Promote actions to improve quality, efficiency, and safety across the value chain, consistently seeking enhancements to ensure customer satisfaction. Support activities related to the quality management system, and train newly hired quality personnel on criteria, diagrams, and control plans.

This role is contributing to the ELIP business in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Training new hires on the use of the visualizer, quality management systems (SAC and/or QS), inspection instructions, work methods and/or visual aids, drawing interpretation, control plans, scrap handling, and use of measurement equipment.

• Ensuring proper use of PPE, as well as identifying any unsafe conditions or actions within the process.

• Reviewing and updating control plans.

• Following up on corrective actions related to scrap and/or rejections using A3 methodology.

• Participating in and following up on ISO 9001:2015 audits.

• Supporting activities related to customer complaints by participating in root cause analysis (8D).

• Updating quality system records with corresponding engineering notifications.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields

• 1 year of experience in the area and/or prior relevant experience

• Intermediate English level, with the ability to read documentation and write emails

• Technical Knowledge: Quality Systems and Processes, ISO 9001:2015 standard, Microsoft Office, 5 Whys, Statistical Process Control (SPC), knowledge of 5S, Job Instruction (JI), Job Methods (JM), Job Relations (JR), 7 Wastes, Kaizen, Problem Analysis and Solving

• Proficient in the use of measurement equipment, blueprint interpretation, and geometric tolerances
