Quality Control Manager

Are you looking for an opportunity to manage, lead, and implement long-to-midterm quality management plans for laboratories to ensure the delivery of compliant products to customers? If so, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans for the department.
• Ensure the site’s Quality Control unit (raw materials, finished products, and microbiological testing) complies with regulatory requirements, company standards, and Site Operating Procedures.
• Establish measurable improvement processes and metrics to add value for internal and external customers.
• Lead complex lab investigations, including Out of Specification and Out of Trend.
• Collaborate with regulators and internal auditors.
• Foster and drive Continuous Improvement aligned with business and site objectives, optimizing the development and learning within the analytical team.
• Manage departmental budget controls (headcounts, expenses, capital) and HR policies.
• Act as a delegate/designee in the absence of the Site Quality Director.

Salary : 3500 €/brutto/month; salary can be increased based on the candidate's experience

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of management leadership experience in Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to use data for tactical and strategic decision-making.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills (English, Slovak).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A strong team player who fosters collaboration and promotes company values.
• Digital IT skills – forward-thinking mindset and ability to leverage modern IT technologies.
