As a Quality Control Analyst in the Wholesale Lending Services Dealer Services team, you will conduct quality reviews across various functional teams, focusing on complex and multilayered deals and transactions. You will ensure compliance with established criteria, maintain accurate records, and support ongoing process improvements. Your role will be essential in identifying trends, providing feedback, and participating in quality and control projects.
Job responsibilities
- Perform quality reviews of customer files and transactions against pre-established criteria.
- Accurately enter information into the quality system of record for tracking and reporting.
- Complete all quality-related requests within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Follow documented quality policies and procedures.
- Ensure testing job aids and procedures are kept current.
- Identify and escalate error trends for training and coaching opportunities.
- Develop documentation of results and activities, including standard reports, process updates, and issue logs.
- Build strong knowledge of operational processes.
- Collaborate with fellow Quality Analysts to determine and share best practices, provide feedback to processors regarding errors.
- Participate in quality-related and departmental projects as assigned.
- Participate in control testing, including control walkthroughs and sample gathering.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work with moderate supervision.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to deliver on projects and tasks with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including critical thinking.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong computer skills.
- Ability to perform research on projects as needed.
- Effective team player with the ability to develop positive working relationships and share risk identification and resolution practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience as a Quality Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Knowledge of Floor Plan lending.
- Familiarity with the Datascan System.
