The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of quality assurance protocols, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met across all products and services within a strategic project
with the Department of Veterans Affairs that impacts over millions of veteran users. This role involves leading a team of QA professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA policies and procedures.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Lead and mentor the QA team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with product development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify
areas for improvement and ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications
- 10 Years of Experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant degree (bachelor's degree can be substituted with 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted).
- Experience in creating and implementing detailed plans to ensure overall quality of all IT products, systems, and services.
- Experience in resolving all project or program release problems, triage, escalate, and take corrective action.
- Experience in assuring the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of essential tools.
