As a quality assurance engineer, you will lead tests for multiple AI software products. We seek a high-energy, talented quality assurance engineer to work with multiple development teams and stakeholders globally to drive test strategy and implementation. You will lead the release of large-scale software products with AI technologies for the manufacturing industry, influencing our strategy by spearheading best practices for quality products. You will work with passionate and talented software and AI engineers. You will adopt and maintain the automated test infrastructure for manufacturing AI applications. You will evaluate current test plans, identify coverage gaps, and create test strategies and cases to improve product quality. Additionally, you will establish a reliable continuous build and test cycle with meaningful reporting.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans
- Define key metrics for measuring and reporting on the quality of software products and test effectiveness
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for various software components, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Own the design and implementation of tests that will help in the end-to-end quality of major deliverables, working closely with multiple engineers and teams to execute them
- Leverage the existing automation framework to design, create, and maintain an automated regression test suite
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and testing, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve testing processes
- Understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripts and/or user-level automated tools
- Create and report test execution status summary along with defect information
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, suggesting and implementing process enhancements
- Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to understand software quality requirements and design effective test strategies
- Attend grooming and planning meetings for all teams as part of the development team
- Ensure work is consistently high quality and incorporates best practices
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in test planning and design for application or web/app service release/updates
- Experience communicating with relevant departments, including PM (Product/Project Manager), development, SRE (System Reliability Engineer), and design, and performing QA/testing
- Experience performing and managing QA/testing tasks in a DevOps or Agile environment
- Experience applying fundamental knowledge of software engineering (SDLC), software testing, and QA to your work
- Experience performing various tests (performance, security) that can evaluate quality beyond functionality
- Experience developing and performing tests using one or more development languages and automation tools, such as Pytest, Mocha, Jest, Playwright, and Selenium
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or maintaining automated tests/test framework in development languages such as Python, Javascript, PlayWrite, or Selenium
- Experience designing or performing API tests
- Experience configuring or improving DevOps or TestOps
- Experience designing and executing specific test domains, such as performance, security, or multilingual testing
- Experience setting quality goals or implementing quality improvement activities
- Business-level English proficiency or experience working in an international company
