Avantor is seeking a meticulous and driven QA Analyst to join our Global Laboratory Services team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining analytical method compliance and supporting global quality initiatives that impact life sciences and advanced technologies worldwide.
Site location: The Avantor Business Centre in Timpuri Noi, Bucharest
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience
several years of experience in a cGMP laboratory environment
Strong base in English (B2) and fluent in Romanian
Solid understanding of GxP principles and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Experience with SAP, LabVantage LIMS, and document control platforms (e.g., EtQ)
Familiarity with global compendia (USP, EP, BP, JP, ChP, FCC, ACS)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
How you will thrive and create an impact:
Supporting compendial compliance activities for USP, EP, BP, JP, ChP, FCC, and more
Managing updates to compendial documents and analytical methods
Reviewing CAPAs and ensuring effective interim controls and updates
Driving process improvements for method transfers and compendial management
Analyzing method parameters and supporting data equivalency processes
Initiating, revising, and approving SOPs for Global Laboratory Services
Assessing risk, prioritizing tasks, and escalating elevated risks to Quality Management
