Job Description As the Agility Lead for External Cloud Services, you will have the primary responsibility and accountability for establishing a delivery cadence with engineering teams and product leads. This role will help grow the agile maturity across feature teams and scale the agility organization with the pace of delivery. This leader will be responsible for working directly with product and engineering leaders, brining in modern best practices and maturing the operating model of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize work
  • Facilitate Scrum Work: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Assist with Backlog and new requests, remove roadblocks, etc.
  • Develop solutions by applying exceptional process workflow skills
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure implemented solution meets defined success criteria
  • Assess tools, approaches, and techniques to add efficiency and value-added improvements to existing processes and methods
  • Ensure Jira reflects current state of work at all times and coach product teams on the Agile framework and mindset and guide development teams to higher Agile maturity
  • Actively resolve impediments for the scrum team when scope is outside the scrum master's area to ensure work is delivered on schedule and proactively escalate any impediments for resolution with senior leadership
  • Can create team capacity/velocity and release burn up and sprint burn down and defect metrics , help product teams create and maintain the product roadmap, and work with product partners to prioritize product functionality within available team capacity.
  • Manage and coordinate cross functional teams and business groups as needed in the delivery of product functionality and manage and report on risks, issues and dependencies on other program areas
  • Partner with business owners, product owners, scrum masters, technology and finance partners to ensure timely delivery of Payments program and enforces team rules and requirements hygiene.
  • Partners with the Product Owner in meeting the definition of ready and definition of done


Minimum Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience managing an agility team
  • Experience with Agile processes and methodologies in a fast paced, mission critical, enterprise IT environment
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and training teams on Agile and Scrum methodology in an enterprise scale IT environment
  • Experience working with software development
  • Experience with analytics, performance management, process improvement, architecture and design, cross-function collaboration and communications
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
  • Excellent servant leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Scrum master certifications required (CSM, CSP-SM or equivalent certifications)
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience
