We are currently seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) - Workplace Insights to deliver Corporate Real Estate (CRE) technology projects for a strategic client to join our JLL Technologies Program and Project Management Team. We are seeking a passionate, strategic, yet detail-oriented Program Manager to ensure the successful execution of our client's workplace strategy. With the introduction of hybrid work, and the increase of remote work, our client has developed new workplace solutions to support the needs of its employees. Using data to inform strategy will be key to developing and improving these solutions. The Workplace Insights application is a client-developed data product with the vision of making Workplace data accessible and actionable.

We are seeking a passionate, strategic, yet detailed oriented Sr. Technical Program Manager to support the development of the Workplace Insights product. As a member of our client's product team, your influence and skills will help accelerate the growth of Workplace Insights and drive customer value. The ideal candidate will have a bias for action, a background in modern web app development, will be an experienced problem solver, and comfortable communicating effectively with high level leadership.

The Program and Project Management team is a client-facing team that specializes in delivery of complex CRE technology projects to JLLT clients, inclusive of change management, training and technology success and adoption.

What this job involves

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will be directly responsible for:

  • Support cross-functional technical teams to deliver their objectives in fast-paced and
    complex programs and projects
  • Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to drive
    focus on strategic and tactical program objectives
  • Drive alignments and prioritization across all technology initiatives, manage roadmap for a
    single consistent view and lead communications
  • Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program
    success
  • Own and manage program planning, execution of roadmap, and engineering operations
    for multiple verticals.
  • Define and monitor product metrics to ensure high performance of the team's delivery
  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Coach others in TPM and Agile best practices

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ Years of program and project management experience with 4+ years full-time technical program management experience within an engineering
    organization
  • 2+ years' experience in Agile Methods (Scrum, Lean, Kanban)
  • 2+ years of hands-on software development experience a plus
  • Experience within a data and research organization preferred
  • Direct experience in data driven products or data integration frameworks
  • Ability to quickly adapt to faster pace, shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through
    analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing offshore R&D teams; ability to work across global time zones as required, with core hours in Pacific time
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to maintain excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation and desire to always deliver with excellence, team player
  • Experience working in large global organizations with complex technical environments as well as dealing with internal and external customers, service providers and vendors
  • Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with business stakeholders, end-users, vendors, and technology teams.
  • Ability to operate independently with general guidance
