FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Technology Business Consultant Specialist in Durham, NC, to provide software consultancy service to our clients to implement our next generation Trade Capture and Back Office processing platform, FIS CD. Understand all modules of the FIS CD solution, to gather client's functional and technical requirements and advise how FIS CD can best be delivered to meet those required requirements. Understand the FIS CD product's underlying technologies and architecture coupled with extensive experience/knowledge of Post Trade processes. Support the day to day aspects of the project delivery, the Technology Business Consultant must communicate effectively and regularly with clients and internal stakeholders. Work in a fast-paced environment with the wider FIS team working practices while proposing innovative solutions. Understand the post-trade business Middle/Back Office and an expert in FIS' post trade processing suite of products in order to provide the expertise required to execute our projects. Analyze business problems, identifying and documenting system requirements and refining the customer requirements in detail, produce estimates, documenting and presenting to the client for approval. Implement and configure technical solutions to a high-level of quality, to meet business requirements and to integrate our solutions into our clients' wider systems. Work collaboratively in a team of implementation consultants to meet project goals and timelines. Work closely with the project manager to promptly identify any potential issues to allow a pro-active solution offered.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information System or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: supporting software application implementations in the financial industry throughout all stages of project lifecycle; supporting development of software for Post Trade Services Processes (middle/back office operations) of Post Trade Services Processes (middle/back office operations); utilizing Linux and Java; and working with databases including MySql, Oracle, and Couchbase. In the alternative, the employer will accept two (2) years of work experience to satisfy the Bachelor's degree requirement. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible.
