Technical Project Manager

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Technical Project Manager to join our Engineering team and manage our agile development process and execution across our suite of tools and products. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering features on time and with given resources, so that the outcome matches the expectations of external and internal stakeholders. You will manage the software development cycle by aligning available resources and managing issues and risks. As such, you will be a key partner to the product and technical teams at DeepIntent.

You will report to our Chief Technology Officer. While the role is based in NYC, we are open to candidates who are remote and willing to work in EST and travel to NYC for periodic business meetings.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage meetings with the engineering team, including follow up notes and capturing action items/owners/due dates. You will be responsible for developer time management and milestones delivery.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with external partners, integrations, and vendors; set appropriate expectations for joint projects with external parties.
• Oversee the US engineering team availability and resources; maintain ongoing load tracker and support project planning and resources allocation.
• Work with remote project managers in India and Europe to enforce cross-team adoption of existing project management workflow/framework.
• Maintain familiarity with Agile development and product delivery; measure and improve project performance.
• Maintain ongoing familiarity with Product Roadmap.
• Raise awareness of resourcing risks when appropriate.
• Deliver progress weekly/monthly progress reports and KPIs such as timely project delivery and engineering velocity.

What You’ve Accomplished: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or Bachelor's degree in a non-technology related field with 3+ years work experience in a technology-related field.
• 3+ years experience working in a relevant field.
• Experience working with the Agile project management process, Jira, and Confluence or similar tools.
• Bias towards action, and a demonstrated ability to break down work and identify the highest value, lowest-effort items.
• Detailed knowledge of Agile development practices and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact features at scale.
• Comfortable working in a start-up environment and across all stages of the product life-cycle.
• Experience of using analytical tools to monitor success of features and influence changes to the product.
• Experience of working with a mixture of in-house and outsourced or offshore teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication. Able to write and present to non-technical audiences.
• Experience of stakeholder management in a matrixed environment.
• Able to apply sound judgment to identify tickets that require collaborating with other teams in the US and overseas, and coordinate with peer managers for resolution. 
• Experience identifying process gaps and suggesting ways to improve it.
• PMP Certification desired, but not required.
