The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing method and/or process validation and development projects in support of client programs. This role requires extensive knowledge of GMP biomanufacturing processes to effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Essential Functions

  • Work collaboratively with the client-facing Project/Program Manager(s) to communicate regular progress updates internally and externally
  • Relay changes in project scope, timing or requirements to the Client Services team for costing revisions
  • Work collaboratively with client and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of key milestones, action items and overall project deliverables
  • Proactively identify barriers to success and work with the client and cross-functional team members to generate and implement solutions
  • Collect and report assigned metrics related to timeline and budget
  • Effectively navigate and resolve conflict with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and nurture relationships
  • Closely track and forecast tasks and project timelines and provide team with early warnings on possible variances
  • Responsible for providing routine and clear communication during the span of a campaign regarding project status, needed information/materials and accomplishment of milestones deliverables
  • Coordinate and drive meetings, assemble agendas, capture minutes, and identify, appropriately disseminate, and ensure timely completion of actions items
  • Report and escalate critical barriers to project success as appropriate
  • Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Develop and deliver project plans, project documentation, status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Create structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, timelines and budget constraints
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Travel

This position requires up to 25% travel if remote

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in method validation, process validation, process development, or tech transfer initiatives required, preferably related to nucleic acids
  • Demonstrated success as a technical project or program manager leading complex initiatives
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Experience within a regulated environment required


Education:

  • Advanced degree in related area of study required
  • Experience using D365 preferred


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated strong working knowledge of and ability to apply technical information
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
  • Highly skilled in use of project management software
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Possess a technical skills aptitude, strong critical thinking skills and continuous strive for efficiency improvements
  • Working knowledge of Danaher Business Systems tools and/or lean/six sigma tools preferred
  • Thorough understanding of cGMP requirements and compliance


Professional Certification:

  • PMP Certificate beneficial


Salary Range $85,000 - $115k plus bonus
