Team Overview:

D&B Small Business & Digital Platforms is a business unit within D&B Technology that focuses on the needs of micro, small and mid-sized businesses within various channels including eCommerce as well as premium sales. The charter for the team is to enable transformation of our Small Business technology stack into consolidated modern, stable and scalable platform to bring intuitive user experience, global coverage and scalability with our more advanced workflow, automation and integration capabilities to meet the current and future needs of our clients.


Scope of Position:

Dun & Bradstreet Technology team is looking for a high performing, results oriented, technology savvy Technical Project Manager for our Small Business Technology unit to work closely with development, finance, product, marketing and sales operations teams to ensure that work across teams and internal issues are resolved in a timely manner. The Technical Project Manager will be helping the Project Management Office (PMO) be high-performing and efficient.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Immediately manage targeted Dun & Bradstreet strategic technical initiatives
  • Manage the communication and escalation among cross functional groups
  • Work closely and efficiently with the development and product team to complete requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues associated with the integrations, document production problems and coordinate the escalation of issues
  • Provide ongoing support and communication between business and technology teams
  • Ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Effectively communicate technical information in both written and verbal forms to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • In addition to managing technical projects, strategize and help identify technical solutions as needed
  • Plan project timelines and milestones within each project phase by working with resources and collecting estimates
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and analysis

Key Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a math or science related field required, MA/MS/MBA is a plus
  • 2+ years of project management experience (startup or consulting preferred)
  • Technical background is a must; PMI/PMP certification preferred
  • Possess full product lifecycle experience (requirements, design, implementation, deployment) at an online/internet/technology company
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, managing projects across multiple teams
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook; Visio or Draw.io a plus
  • Working knowledge of relevant project management tools and systems (e.g. JIRA, project plans, program status management)
  • Experience working with cross functional teams managing technical projects
  • Proven ability to work efficiently with multiple business product owners and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a wide range of projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience communicating with the Director, VP and Executive level management during project development, priority setting, status and budget reporting
  • Experience in a high-traffic online, consumer-facing and/or ecommerce business
