As a Technical Project Manager - Data at Arrive Logistics, you’ll play a key role in delivering highly impactful and revenue-generating data products, insights, and capabilities of our Data Platform. You’ll work alongside Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science specialists to understand and own project requirements, lead and implement Agile methodologies and team standards, and ensure deliverables and dependencies for our complex analytical products are coordinated efficiently across teams. The role of the Technical Project Manager is critical to ensuring our projects and team operations run efficiently and have the highest impact.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and streamline work intake processes that allow the team to understand and meet the needs of stakeholders
• Lead team Scrum ceremonies to facilitate team efficiency, communication, and overall health
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, assess strategic importance, and ruthlessly prioritize work for the team
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation outlining requirements, objectives, and success metrics for new initiatives
• Drive standards that allow the team to operate more efficiently
• Work with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to size user stories/epics, communicate timelines to stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of planned work
• Work with leaders of the Data Organization to craft roadmaps and strategy for both internal platform-level initiatives and external user-facing projects
• Meet frequently with business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their business process and the freight broker perspective

Education and/or Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a technical project or product management role
• 1+ years of experience driving projects with Data, Machine Learning, Software, or DevOps Engineers
• Experience working with highly technical data engineering and science projects, including projects with complex analytical or machine learning components
• Experience working with projects that deal with common data architectures, processes, and paradigms such as data warehousing/modeling, ETL/ELT, data science model development and deployment
• Strong organization, prioritization, and change management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Experience implementing agile project methodology
