Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: U.S. Based, Remote
Compensation: 100k-120k, Stock Options, Flex PTO, Health/Vision/Dental, Retreats
Who is the Data Squad?
Our Data team's primary focus is to provide accurate and consistent data to our platform and customers. Data sources will vary from hundreds of data providers as well as from our very own platform analytics. As a member of the Data team, you'll be working on our data pipeline orchestrated by various open source technologies. You'll be joining a team that cares about shipping sustainable and tested solutions that will affect real-world real estate transactions.
What you will do as a Technical Project Manager
-Agile Management: Collaborate with tech lead and product/engineering leadership to think through and plan solutions. Own Agile development processes inclusive of breaking down requests into manageable work, ensuring readiness for execution, and enabling the team to deliver on its commitments through project management of risks and dependencies.
-Works with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements for data-specific features; manage and prioritize backlog of features/bugs
-Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled data projectsHold regular meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
-Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiativesResearch MLS feeds and 3rd party data sources to be integrated in the platform
Skills and qualifications
-3+ years experience with Agile Scrum methodology
-Preferred experience with JIRA
-Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies and methodsExcellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
-A strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
-Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
-The ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
-A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred
-Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferred
-Experience with data platforms and ETL processes preferred
