The Team
IT Engineering's TPM team manages cross functional initiatives that range from global IT infrastructure expansion, rolling out enterprise and business applications that redefine the way work gets done within Uber to support the existing and emerging business lines.
As a TPM in Uber's IT Engineering team, you will own and drive Uber's ServiceNow cross functional program to deliver an outstanding employee self-service experience and help mature our service management process. We are seeking an experienced and passionate TPM who will work cross-functionally to ensure delivery of the right technical solution to address the business need. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive feature delivery at Uber speed. As the TPM, you will ensure the delivery of architectural improvements, systems integrations and new features roll outs across ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, ITOM and SAM products.
A successful candidate is the stabilizing and negotiating hand that ensures the teams are operating with alignment and maintaining an ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders across HR, IT, Engineering Security, Finance tech and other relevant functions.

What the Candidate Will Do:
• Lead complex and large scale cross-team, multi-functional initiatives. Work with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define breakthroughs and manage resources. Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders.• Drive crucial conversations with senior leaders across the organization to prioritize delivery based on strategic business case and measurable benefits• Engage and collaborate with all product management, platform engineering team, engineering security, finance and business stakeholders benefited by the program• Handle engagements of 3rd party consultants to help implement, support and configure ServiceNow platform on an ongoing basis• Handle ServiceNow platform upgrade, feature releases, acceptance testing and facilitate organizational change management efforts• Resource Management - Work with the project team and engineering manager to define the projects' cross functional technical and non-technical resources. Monitor allocation and capacity.
Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience working with stakeholders in a consultative manner to solve business problems using technology and data-driven techniques• Minimum of 5 years experience as a program / project manager or engineering manager in managing ServiceNow platform implementations• 3+ years of experience in Agile Methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional emotional intelligence. Ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships.• Demonstrated ability to lead extended groups of senior professionals in a matrixed organization• Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges and risks. Engineers enjoy working closely with you.• Analytical and truth seeking. Ability to understand complex concepts and make reasoned decisions objectively with a passion for data driven decisions• Strong organizational skills to balance many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items.• Exposure to ServiceNow Service Catalog Workflows, SAM, Portal Implementations and CMDB• Experience with ITSM and ITIL concepts and framework, providing expertise to guide ITSM and ITIL implementations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ServiceNow platform administration and license lifecycle management (Optional)• Global scale serviceNow solution roll out experience in a consulting organization or a large global enterprise
