Shelf Engine is searching for a talented Technical Program Manager to join our growing team and report directly to our CTO. In this role, you will work with multiple teams across functions to deliver the best product with the most efficient use of resources and technologies. Our business operates on data, and the focus of this specific role is ensuring that we have both great technical features for performing data exchange with our customers, and processes to onboard new data connections and triage and manage existing connections.  You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints when prioritizing these areas of work. This position is based in Seattle, WA. 

As a Technical Program Manager at Shelf Engine, you will:

  • Embrace our company principles through inclusive, authentically kind, and empathetic interactions with our team and our customers
  • Responsible for the overall process life cycle of onboarding and managing customers in Shelf Engine’s data ingestion and export pipelines
  • Work with product managers and engineering managers in developing a strategy and product road map
  • Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management, and tracking of external commitments

And we think you would make a great Technical Program Manager if you have:

  • Prior experience as a Technical Program Manager
  • Great attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills
  • Good judgment on making priority trade-offs between complex business needs and technical constraints
  • Worked with engineering teams and familiar with the various tools and processes for planning and executing work that they employ
  • Deep hands-on technical expertise with data and surface-level data analysis 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
