ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team. As a collaborative facilitator you have an ability to influence using experience and a track record of success. Your skills evaluating and presenting schedule, cost, delivery and risk to executives are second nature and almost seem effortless. Your technical background in EE component supply chain and manufacturing will help bring best-in-class solutions to every project. This remote position will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional activities with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Engineering partners to enable manufacturing/supply readiness throughout NPI phases and Mass Production
  • Understand technical aspects of product (roadmap, design, product capabilities), supply chain (sourcing, assembly process, automation, etc)
  • Synthesize feedback from Supply Chain partners in order to drive DFX recommendations to the Product and Engineering teams
  • Communication - Synthesize information on the program (timeline, major issues, readiness for mass-production, component CTB readiness, relevant DFX trade-offs, impact on development milestones) into concise communication for Supply Chain teams and Senior Management
  • SPOR - Aggregate and drive cross functional alignment around sourcing/manufacturing strategy for the product
  • Product Cost - Drive ROFO and R&O process along with DFX trade-off discussions to achieve product targets
  • CapEx Budget - Aggregate budget details and drive spend optimization to align with volume and financial forecast
  • Capacity/Forecast - Coordinate with Planning and GSM/MfgOps teams drive capacity readiness across commodities
  • PDP - Lead preparation of SC material and coordinate with Juul Leads for gate reviews, etc.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years of experience in technical program management, materials management, sourcing or supply chain management, in a high-volume industry with significant electronics content. 
  • Effective management of component sourcing within a manufacturing environment; CTB management, component pull-in/push out, and negotiating cost reductions 
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills on complex projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level 
  • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution and the ability to multitask
  • Comfortable and responsive in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically in support of development and ramp
  • Self-motivated with a high level of energy and desire to succeed

EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS Degree; MBA preferred. Degree in Operations Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or Engineering is preferred.
