In this role you will:

  • Manage a medium to large-scale program for a critical voice business initiatives (5-10+ vertical tracks, multiple stakeholders, multiple partners)
  • Interact with internal, external and executive stakeholders often requiring judgement and organizational sensitivity
  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge of architecture, systems design, infrastructure needs, and component design to support subsequent efforts with similar requirements
  • Work collaboratively and globally with cross-functional peers and senior leaders/stakeholders for program issues and drive risk and mitigation plans
  • Drive the continuous improvement and evolution of processes, methodologies, and tools within the organization
  • Challenge organizational processes that do not contribute to value delivery, and illustrate better process alternatives
  • Produce high level timelines and estimates for decision making and detailed project and program Gant charts to manage projects to completion.
  • Create and consolidate program timeline and communicating overall program health in a way that all levels of the organization can consume
  • Ensure each team understands the overall objectives and timeline, and how their deliverables impact the overall program
  • Work collaboratively and globally with cross-functional peers and senior leaders/stakeholders for program issues and drive mitigation plans
  • Establishes and implements processes which foster team collaboration, the exchange of diverse ideas and transparency at the organizational level
  • Conduct change management meetings to ensure changes to scope and requirements are known, captured and escalated appropriately for impact and decision making related to all of the changes.
  • Captures requisite knowledge, in the form of best practices, how to guides and similar to accelerate continuous improvement
  • Lead project planning sessions on requirements scoping, timelines, resources and dependencies
  • Conduct weekly meetings on issues, statuses and action items

Your qualifications are: 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, training or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience in full lifecycle program/project management
  • 5+ years of experience in managing complex projects with cross functional teams 
  • 5+ years of experience in coordinating release schedules and delivering technological implementations
  • Excellent written, verbal presentation, communication and organizational skills, and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization
  • Experience using multiple development approaches (Agile, Kanban ideal)
  • Comfortable presenting to and persuading at the Director and Vice President level
  • Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
  • Experience with change management and conflict resolution
  • Ability to raise difficult issues/risks and drive for decisions/action/resolutions
  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective in documenting flows, designs, processes and architectural diagrams
  • Detailed and analytically oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong business acumen supporting business operations in technology companies and/or retail
  • Agile tools (JIRA, Rally, etc)
  • Strong solution analysis experience in a global environment with distributed teams
  • PMP Certification, CSM or equivalent nice to have
  • Experience with Telephony systems and/or CRMs
  • Comfortable in working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
  • Big-picture thinking (vision), while constantly keeping an eye on execution of the vision
  • Some soft skills: Customer focused mindset, Problem-solving is in your DNA, Creative, out of the box thinker and Curious by nature
