About the Role
As a Cloud TPM, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and our cloud vendors to pull data, analyze capacity and usage, optimize cost, and streamline current processes. You are a problem solver with strong experience in GCP and AWS; someone who feels comfortable working in a data-rich and dynamic environment, putting various pieces of the puzzle together to create a coherent picture.

What the Candidate Will Do:

• Work as the primary point of contact to support understanding cloud consumption and be able to provide valuable insights into opportunities to optimize cloud consumption.
• Experience writing policies and procedures to improve and streamline current processes
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders in operations, engineering, and other teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders on different levels
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate in an effective and efficient manner
• Ability to prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure, constantly changing environment
• Ability to think creatively to find optimal solutions to complex problems
• Passion for detail and quality, an ability to identify weaknesses in data and process

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Minimum of two years experience with cloud infrastructure, to include knowledge of commonly used IaaS and PaaS cloud services in AWS and GCP
• Passionate about system architecture and supporting operations of distributed systems at hyper scale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write detailed design documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS Athena, CloudTrail, Organizations, and Cost Explorer required
• Experience with GCP Billing, Organizations, and IAM required
• Excel/Google skills to compile reports and spreadsheets, and analyze data
• SQL skills for pulling data and standardizing queries from large databases preferred
