Technical Program Manager, AR Developer Experience

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join Snap’s AR Developer Experience team to drive success for sophisticated AR use cases. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll manage Ghost, our AR Innovation Lab, working with global AR partners to deliver dozens of technically advanced AR products powered by Snap’s camera.
What you’ll do:
Own operations for high touch developer programs including recruiting, onboarding, production, publication, promotion plus coordination of legal and financial agreements
Manage AR production for a select cohort of global developers and partners
Derive quantitative and qualitative insights into AR usage, platform stability and the developer experience across a variety of touch-points and projects
Produce trend analyses of common developer pain points and feature requests and deliver actionable recommendations for addressing them to Product and Engineering
Manage internal and external team updates and communications
Support the special initiatives, project management and reporting efforts for your team
Work cross functionally to create and maintain systems to ensure developers and partners are generating business value and achieving successful outcomes
Manage processes to ensure developers build accessible, inclusive products
Dive deeply into technical details (e.g. key dependencies, design choices, operability, etc.) and ask questions to get the right people in the room to unblock production
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, plus a keen attention to detail
Intuitive problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and overcome project roadblocks
A pragmatic understanding of networking, machine learning, cloud storage and synchronization optimized for mobile platforms
An eye for efficiency: constantly engaged in improving results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and then implementing those changes
Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and resolve problems independently
Understanding of Agile methodologies and strong analytical skills. Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio a plus
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to maintain team morale through enthusiasm, optimism and authority in the face of challenges
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering and interactive technology or equivalent years of experience
3+ years experience managing developer programs and/or projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering innovative, interactive products that make judicious, creative use of emerging technologies
Experience producing content for emerging hardware, augmented reality or virtual reality
Hands-on experience with at least one programming language such as Javascript/Python/Lua/C# or C++
