Technical Program Coordinator
Boston:
The Motional global headquarters are located at 100 Northern Avenue in Boston, MA. Nestled in the busting Seaport district with sweeping views of Boston Harbor and downtown Boston, the offices are located close to major transit lines and a quick walk to various restaurants and popular attractions.
Motional is currently seeking a Technical Program Coordinator in our Program Management Office. In this role, you will assist the lead program manager in planning strategic deliverables, gathering requirements from stakeholders, prioritizing tasks, managing expectations across the board, and tracking execution through deployment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Partner across multiple functional teams to coordinate on program deliverables
- Work closely with Technical Program Managers (TPM) and Program Managers (PM) to understand and support the program management process and policies including maintaining accurate documentation, obtaining regular status, administering tasks, and tracking progress (i.e. objectives, scope, priorities, timelines, deliverables, budget reconciliations, internal/external communication)
- Assist in identifying risks and implementing the corresponding resolutions with TPMs and PMs
- Support Program Manager in tracking key hardware/software component deliverables against overall schedule
- Support overall organization’s program deliverables through interfacing with various AV teams, product management, safety and, testing and operations teams
- Collaborate with team members daily to ensure project progress is on track
- Exercise Agile software development process for software releases
- Work in a fast-paced work environment while communicating with employees in other locations
Education and Experience we want from you:
- BA/BS degree in a science or engineering field, or proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in relevant industry
- Basic understanding of Atlassian toolchain, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools/processes
- Strong time-management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Understanding of code; comfort with programming/scripting for dash-boarding, data analysis, and basic automation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Autonomous Driving technology
- Experience in working with hardware and software teams
