Overview
The Technical Implementation Manager is an all encompassing role working with a team of ten Technical Implementation Managers, 5 based in the US and 5 based in the UK. This rewarding role will be leading project planning, control and reporting, providing and assessing project estimates, analysis of trends with errors, testing software behaviors, preparing for operational readiness, and providing ongoing improvements and further development of the solution. You would own the "Continuous Improvement" of the projects and processes and provide mentoring to others within Clario.

Responsibilities
- Independently manages high-profile and complex studies with diverse scope.
- Works with internal stakeholders to understand client project requirements providing experience and guidance on how projects can be delivered efficiently using the current product suite and helps define enhancements as necessary
- Runs project initiation processes by setting up the initial project plan for each study, assisting project managers in planning and scheduling, consolidating team input to create a strategy, and scheduling and initiating progress reporting processes
- Mentors staff for the execution of their project and its impact on the study to monitor effort, schedule, and technical performance
- Manages strategic service and technology business partnerships
- Manages progress reporting by technical project managers; creates overall progress and effort reports
- Acts as product/device related technical expert (special know how in specific functions and/or devices also as special know how in settings and configurations)
- Ability to support most of Study Types (e.g. Single/Multi boot, Multiprotocol, Masterscope, FlowScreen, SpiroSphere)
- Designs and implements continuous process improvement, including related SOPs/SWIs
- Establishes consistent planning framework; assisting project managers in planning and scheduling
- Compares study-specific requirements with existing solutions, initiates necessary new implementations and manages them with regard to timeline and functional scope
- Plans setup and validation slots for upcoming projects including scope, status, efficiency, quality and risks
- Reviews relevant documents regarding testability, comprehensibility, plausibility, inconsistencies, requirement or quality gaps
- Creates and maintains a project plan for each study to include product mix and software requirements as specified by the requirement specification documents
- Runs progress reporting, creates overall progress and risks reports, reports status to external parties and attends internal status meetings to report updates to upper management
- Monitors project tasks for efficiency and quality and follows up on defects in defect tracking system and updates priority and assignment as needed
- Mediates between customer care/project management and R & D, to prepare incidents/issues and enrich them with information that speeds up processing/analysis.
- Continuously reviews TOP used tools and provides guidance on tool improvements and/or efficiency.
- Meets commitments, accepts accountability, sets personal standards, and stays focused under pressure

Qualifications

- BS, BA or equivalent IT education
- Technical background and understanding to work with Developer and Designers to manage the volume of work and ensure quality, timeline and best solutions
- Experience managing a team
- Commercial experience of:
- Project Management
- Technical Project Management matters
- The entire Project Life Cycle
- Software Development Process
- Handling database queries
- Experience with the following:
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Microsoft Sharepoint Server (TCTM)
- Application Lifecycle Management System (Polarion)
- Software for process and project tracking (JIRA)
- Backend environments
- Good Clinical or Manufacturing Processes (GCP/GMP) is preferred
