Job Description Consumer and Community Banking Finance & Business Management works to strategically manage capital, drive growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk. By providing information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions, teams ensure the company can navigate all types of market conditions while protecting our fortress balance sheet.
Our Business Management team acts as a trusted advisor to the business head and optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. We are seeking to fill a Technology Business Manager role in the Finance and Business Management team to partner with multiple teams (Technology, Product, Analytics, Design, Finance) to design, build, maintain and report on cross functional initiatives for our Technology Leaders and Line of Business stakeholders.
As our organization aligns into a product centric model, determine with other team members the appropriate strategy to re-tool our reporting and processes.
CCB Finance & Business Management is seeking to fill a Business Manager role to partner with multiple teams (Product, Technology, Analytics, and Finance) to design, build, maintain and report on cross functional initiatives for our stakeholders.
This role will be to assist in building the operational framework for the Technology Finance organization. Partner with F&BM Leads to drive consistent business management practices, development of OKRs, setting logical key performance measures and reporting driving towards continuous improvement in accuracy and control.
Provide resource management communications, planning/forecasting guidance and coordination for core business requirements
About the Role:
This unique role will allow a multi-faceted candidate to join an entrepreneurial team supported by the assets of JPMC to help build out and run senior level management and reporting.
The main function will be to source, collate and report the data required relating to OKRs, Product Roadmaps, Metrics, Financial Updates including future iterations and improvements. Supplementary activities include leading ad-hoc projects and coordination of key forums required of a Business Management team.
Develop collaborative working relationships across TLT, MLT, Product teams, CTO, CTO -1, Finance, and horizontal LOB's while providing business value and transparency This role will be responsible for creating a monthly reporting pack for multiple Lines of Business Stakeholders across multiple digital initiatives and functions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Building an organizational framework for Technology Finance:
    • Lead team in building structure and new ways of working that align with Agile methodologies
    • Manage backlog, JIRA, confluence, for ongoing deliverables
    • Build efficient processes for operational workload
  • Executive reporting: Facilitate central reporting of key OKRs/updates to CCB leadership
    • Assist in the Design, Build and Coordination of the initial reporting framework
    • Work with product line's stakeholders to address standardized and requirements
    • Facilitate the timely creation of the monthly cross product reporting
    • Review existing processes and elevate, advocate and integrate best practices
  • Supplementary Activities
    • Big Rocks: Lead project management from project start through project completion for special ad hoc projects for Digital F&BM.
    • Agility: Lead projects for organizational changes associated with the introduction of Agile and Product Aligned Architecture
    • Coordination and support of key forums across the product teams
    • Business Management and oversight of day-to-day operations for our CFO - Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders in various products. This role will interface with key influencers and decision-makers across various Products, Technology, Analytics and Finance functions.


Qualifications:

  • 7-10 plus years of Project Management, Business Management, Scrum Lead or PMO experience involving complex business, operations and technology delivery
  • High Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate and develop new concepts, processes and value added activities
  • Must be able to design business reporting and analysis that is clear, concise and actionable
  • Ability to work effectively with other lines of business, finance teams and technology partners
  • Experience with Business applications (Tableau)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely
  • Excellent issue resolution skills
