Project management role leads multiple cross functional project teams in support of overall Collins-wide supply chain transformation roadmap, focusing on 3 key areas. First, the role leads creation of project management framework to include project goals, scope, project team, timeline and key milestones to ensure project alignment. Second, identifying and facilitating team activities that align with project tasks and milestones. Third, facilitating specific project team activities to include project requirements gathering, current/future state planning, testing/training and communication/change management. The role will manage the execution and delivery of 2-4 concurrent process and digital projects, in support of digital transformation roadmap implementation strategy.

This individual can work onsite at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Dedicated single point of contact for each SBU/Central Function for one or more Collins-level transformation projects with specific responsibilities to include the following:

  • Confirm project goals and scope, vision and desired outcome of project
  • Facilitate understanding of adjacent or projects with dependencies
  • Plan/facilitate the project activities and timelines
  • Ensure project resource structure is identified and assigned
  • Establish project management framework (meetings, status, issues management)
  • Coordinate activities and input from project team and resources
  • Manage project timeline and adherence to schedule
  • Development, socialization, and presenting the passport to the Supply Chain Governance Council (gates 2 through T2S)
  • Identify & coordinate necessary resources for project activity/workshops: requirements gathering current state analysis & future state planning, testing & training, communication & change management
  • Organize, facilitate or lead workshops, based on the project size/needs
  • Ensure timely project communication and status updates
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project issues and risk as appropriate (using SC Transformation Office platform)
  • Collaborate and align project activities with S&S workstream leaders and functional business project team members


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8years of prior relevant experience OR and Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5years experience OR In absence of a degree, 12years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be willing and able to travel 15% of the time
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
  • 5+ years experience with project management
  • 3+ years of supply chain functional experience
  • 3+ years of procurement experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification
  • MBA
  • Experience with SAP or ARIBA
  • Experience with Data Analytics
  • Experience with Agile
  • Prior leadership experience
