Job Summary:Our Studio Technology team is comprised of dedicated technologists supporting world class productions, developing the next generation of technology, as well as solving a range of interesting problems in innovative ways in an exciting and dynamic environment.
We’re looking for a project manager to oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a variety of projects and initiatives. You’ll play the critical role of implementing key efficiency initiatives for the Strategic Operations team within Studio Technology to ensure we are delivering our incredible content on time and on budget.
Responsibilities:

• Serve as key point of contact for key stakeholders across Technology departments and the Walt Disney Studios to intake project requests, provide status updates, assess priority and track schedules for key efficiency projects
• Lead operational and efficiency initiatives from end-to-end, including gathering requirements and defining scope, schedule, and resourcing for each operations and efficiency project you support for the Studio Technology team and cross-Studio projects as well
• Ensure clear reporting of project status from project teams including: timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders
• Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Maintain KPI dashboards related to program metrics
• Apply analytical and critical thinking to identify team inefficiencies and risk areas, and implement projects or processes to improve operations
• Create workflow diagrams of technology and optimization processes and identify opportunities to streamline processes or improve efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodology
• Experience managing and developing teams to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively
• Strong experience in working with technical and operations teams
• Good meeting facilitation skills and effective team player
• Extensive experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Airtable, Google Suite
• Ability to develop and present business cases via PowerPoint or Keynote
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to create workflow drawings and process maps
Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a Content Creation/Production environment
• Experienced with business intelligence tools
• PMP certification a plus
• Certified Scrummaster a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or Project Management

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in science or engineering, or a related technical discipline
