We are reinventing how we engage the startup ecosystems through our Microsoft for Startups program and are looking for a Channel Partner Program Manager to develop and execute a channel partner strategy that will equip startups to achieve growth through Microsoft's channel ecosystem.

In this role, you will be accountable for leading, managing and delivering strategic initiatives that create customer opportunities for our startups through channel partnerships. This leader represents Microsoft for Startups to the Solution Aggregator and System Integrators Partner ecosystem, communicating our strategy, selling our vision and building new go-to-market channels for our startups.

This position is remote friendly.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep relationships with a variety of startups across industries to live and breathe their go-to-market challenges. This will equip you to build an innovative partner GTM program that will be revered throughout the startup ecosystem.
  • Architect a holistic approach to enabling startups to go-to-market through channel partnerships.
  • Build executive relationships across a group of identified Solution Aggregators, VARs and System Integrators to determine opportunities for the partner to create additional value to by taking our Enterprise Ready startups to their customers who are hungry for innovation
  • Analyze feedback and advocate for program enhancements



Qualifications:
Basic

  • Min 5 years' professional experience in partner ecosystem development
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required - MBA desirable.


Preferred

  • Experience working with Microsoft's partner ecosystem (SIs, Solution Aggregators, VARs)
  • Proven record of exceeding targets through indirect sales
  • Ability to accurately assess and synthesize quantitative and qualitative information, draw conclusions, present solutions to senior management and drive overall execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills including interpersonal skills, verbal/written/presentation skills, superior attention to detail and proven ability to influence outcomes.
  • Experience of designing, building, and executing a highly successful program.
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft GPS Organization and enterprise sales teams.
  • Highly adaptable, strong collaborator, fierce advocate, and positive influencer.
