The role will be an integral part of the Stars & Risk Adjustment Market Operations team and will report to the Stars & Risk Adjustment Market Operations Senior Director. The Stars Market Operations Program Management Senior Advisor will drive strategic program delivery as well as provide central support, expertise and governance aligned to market and contract specific strategic planning and oversight of execution, in alignment with Stars goals and objectives.

This role will maintain a matrix orientated relationship with other key functional areas that contribute to meeting Stars objectives including Stars Market Operations, Stars Strategy, Stars & Risk Adjustment Analytics and Enablement and the Market teams. The ideal candidate will have strong project and/or program management experience with a continuous improvement mindset, data-driven approach, and a proven track record of delivering results in a matrix orientated environment.

This role would be responsible for:

  • Monitoring contract level Stars projections to quickly identify pressure points and opportunities at the contract level, including the National PPO plan.
  • Management and facilitation of a governance process for national, multi-market contracts, including PPO, which would include representation of impacted market leads and key matrix partners
  • Coordinate with each regional Stars Market Operations team and/or the Stars strategy team to flag areas needing intervention, partner with markets and or Stars SMEs to develop comprehensive plans with specific action items and owners, and hold the teams accountable for execution against plans
  • Develop and manage process to aggregate regional plans for centralized tracking and executive level roll up and reporting
  • Support in quantifying the value of initiatives aligned to Stars goals and monitor outcomes and effectiveness of those initiatives to report out on progress and inform future actions
  • Communicate program statuses, insights, and resulting business recommendations to senior leadership and matrix partners.
  • Partner with internal analytic teams to deliver data-driven, actionable insight that drives business performance and optimization
  • Participate and present in executive level reviews on Stars operating plans, including progress and performance to goals.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with strategy execution or program management
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage and CMS' Stars Program
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment is critical
  • History of consistently delivering business results
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex programs and operational processes in matrixed environment
  • Strong cross-functional partnership required, proven ability to quickly build relationships internally and externally
  • Execution focus, problem solver
  • Excellent oral, written presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, team-oriented environment


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 99,500 - 165,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
