Intuit's Consumer Group Program Officeis looking for a creative problem solver with a passion for tackling tough customer problems, at scale, to join our team as a Staff Technical Program Manager.

  • Strong Program Management leadership experience, including 10+ years leading multiple complex programs.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment, and ability to influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple locations
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach
  • Motivated self-starter with an attention to detail, but who's also flexible and able to innovate under new and/or changing conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical key points.
  • Proven ability in unearthing and managing risks in the program.



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, related fields or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years Technical Program Management experience involving business, operational, and technology deliverables
  • Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple locations
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with programs for consumer software product delivery experience is strongly preferred over IT program experience (e.g. infrastructure, networking, hardware, security, business operations, etc.)
  • Experience managing programs around platform experience is a plus
  • PMP, Agile certifications or equivalent demonstrated practical technical program management experience is desired



How you will lead

  • Directs large-scale, complex consumer software programs often involving multiple matrixed, internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Creates program charters and leads defining the cross-functional program structure
  • Establishes program operating rhythms; leads cross-functional meetings and fosters teamwork; drives escalation and resolution of issues
  • Provides steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model
  • Participates in program benefits identification and tracking
  • Ensures that the scope of the projects within the program align with business priorities
  • Promotes collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders
  • Manages program-level risks and interdependencies across projects
  • Escalates resourcing issues to resource managers and senior management
  • Facilitates trade-off decisions to optimize program benefits realization
  • Develops communication plans and interfaces with stakeholders to execute responsibilities
  • Provides program status reporting to senior leadership
  • Validates financial forecasts and provides ongoing reconciliation of resources and other related program expenditures, as needed
