Staff Project Manager
Job Description
Procore is looking for an experienced Staff Project Manager to join our Global Talent PMO. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time, high-quality delivery of impactful and multidisciplinary initiatives across the HR organization. This role requires an individual that possesses a strong project management background and the ability to easily navigate ambiguous situations. As a Staff Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact and help us evolve and elevate our PMO. You will manage cross-functional teams and build and maintain project plans, outlining clear deliverables. Additionally, you will work with key stakeholders to keep projects on schedule while always applying a lens for process improvement and efficiency opportunities.
This role is part of a newly formed team and should have a passion for change, a high level of curiosity, and be motivated to help us deliver exceptional results. This position reports to our Director, Global Talent PMO, and can be based in any of our US-based offices or work remotely in the US. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Lead program activities, manage risk mitigation, change control processes and communicate status to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders
Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and develop detailed project plans and milestones
Ensure critical milestones are met, actively identifying and solving cross-functional issues, and escalating and creatively problem-solving risks
Conduct project retrospectives to identify and implement improvements and evolve the maturity of the PMO
Drive project team meetings and foster transparency, collaboration, and alignment
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, project management certification preferred
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
Agile and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail and ability to distill complex problems into actionable plans
Ability to quickly establish credibility, build close working relationships throughout the organization, motivate, collaborate and work successfully in a team environment
