We are looking for an experienced IT business applications program manager who is interested in playing a critical role in the future of our business applications team and processes at Reddit. You’ll have the opportunity to own and drive various programs in the IT business applications space, many of which will require you to work cross functionally across multiple IT & business teams at Reddit. You’ll partner with a world class organization of Technology & Business leaders across the company to evaluate prioritization, tradeoffs and risks related to the programs you manage. Our business application organization includes functional and technical team members to deploy new and optimized applications, automations, and integrations in a compliant, scalable, and secure manner. 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a proven track record and passion in IT program and project management, business applications, and ensuring deep partnership and alignment with various business and IT system owners.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, roll out, and champion IT program and project management, providing continuous improvement and mentorship as needed
  • Closely track all aspects of your programs and projects to ensure deliverables stay on track and within budget; develop appropriate mitigation and escalation plans for risk & issues in a timely manner as they arise 
  • Establish and maintain the appropriate meeting cadence, RACIs, communications plan, success metrics, and status reporting structure, modifying as needed for each program 
  • Autonomously lead multiple cross-functional and large programs or projects in parallel, from establishing program goals to execution to post mortems  
  • Ensure Reddit values and company goals are embodied throughout program and project management teams, therefore increasing potential program success & transparency
  • Proactively collaborate closely with IT and business leaders on program prioritization and capacity planning 
  • Drive efficient and effective programs, ultimately introducing time savings & structure for others through your involvement and leadership   
  • Help establish, develop, and maintain metrics and associated reporting for the business applications team, as well as opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with & lead relationship of third party vendors for project execution and contracting opportunities when relevant 

Qualifications:

  • Consistent track record of driving various complex, cross-functional, and global programs to completion, on time and within budget
  • 10+ years of collective experience in IT business applications and program management roles, ideally in a high growth, SaaS-first technology environment 
  • Experience establishing, championing, mentoring and iterating on IT program management best practices and methodologies 
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and facilitation skills with all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executives, and ability to lead & maintain relationships with external parties
  • Understanding of key business processes such as quote to cash, hire to retire, procure to pay and record to report
  • Experience planning, executing, and project managing teams in an agile software delivery environment, following SDLC principles
  • Ability to facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization exercises with multiple business stakeholders
  • Experience at a public company and/or with SOX processes preferred
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
