Sr. Technical Project Manager-REMOTE
Responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with a high degree of quality. Open to remote for this role.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for cross-functional technical and product management teams to prioritize projects by understanding scope, requirements, level of effort, and pipeline, and clarify tradeoffs when changes are made to that plan
- Accountable for resource management, project documentation, risk mitigation, executive-level communication and effective management of ongoing projects.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to business partners on options to accomplish requested projects
- Identify, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Develop, implement, measure and report on key performance indicators; create and update project dashboards
- Contribute to maturity of enterprise-wide project management methodology and drive process improvement efforts
- Coach, mentor and develop other technical project management professionals.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 3 years project management for IT and/or Software development projects
- At least 2 years of experience mentoring, coaching and developing talent in the IT/Product development areas.
- At least 2 years of experience with release and change management to deliver successful projects
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising technical teams.
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively remove obstacles while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work within multiple SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Preferred
- Master's degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
