Responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with a high degree of quality. Open to remote for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for cross-functional technical and product management teams to prioritize projects by understanding scope, requirements, level of effort, and pipeline, and clarify tradeoffs when changes are made to that plan
  • Accountable for resource management, project documentation, risk mitigation, executive-level communication and effective management of ongoing projects.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to business partners on options to accomplish requested projects
  • Identify, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Develop, implement, measure and report on key performance indicators; create and update project dashboards
  • Contribute to maturity of enterprise-wide project management methodology and drive process improvement efforts
  • Coach, mentor and develop other technical project management professionals.



Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years project management for IT and/or Software development projects
  • At least 2 years of experience mentoring, coaching and developing talent in the IT/Product development areas.
  • At least 2 years of experience with release and change management to deliver successful projects
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising technical teams.
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively remove obstacles while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within multiple SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall



Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
