About the Role
As a part of IT Engineering's Productivity Tools, you'll help plan and execute how we develop custom tools that improve employee retention and productivity. You'll do this by leading multiple programs to develop in-house corporate engineering platforms and tools that our very own employees use.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll join a well established team of application and platform engineers who are dedicated to ensuring Uber's internal tools are highly leveraged and an industry recognized business advantage.
You'll guide all program and product user community aspects for in-house developed products, including:
Integration Developer Toolkits and PlatformsAnalyst and Data Developer Toolkits and PlatformsCorp DevOps and Eng Onboarding Backbone
Basic Qualifications
Workday, Mulesoft or Related Project Management
You've worked at a multinational corporation where Workday or a similar HRIS is deployed. You've led planning and communication for multiple HRIS and other integration changes resulting in highly visible impact.
Agile Development and Product Operations
You've worked in or led multiple product development efforts on teams that included design, product and engineering roles. You guided the schedule and communicated progress on new requirements, based upon input from multiple enterprise partners and ongoing user community feedback. You can describe experience-based standard methodologies for managing all related processes and communications regarding your product.
Technical Writing
You can translate engineering-speak into terms that product users need and understand. You've developed effective technical guidance for users who want to self-service their consumption of a software product or platform.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday, Mulesoft, or other Related Integration Development
You were a Workday or Mulesoft engineering technical specialist at some point in your career and know the ins and outs of creating new integrations for Workday, Mulesoft or similar enterprise platforms.
Technical Product Management
You've performed in a pure product management capacity with real world product deployments, markets and customer segments that you're intimately familiar with. You were principal in creating and executing a product strategy that included value hypothesis, success metrics, roadmaps and community engagement.
Scrum Product Ownership
You've become certified as a Scrum Product Owner and can talk about experiential learning from your time in this role, especially with respect to software system design, programming, engineering management, and operations.
Technical Training
You've developed written, video or other curriculum that other trainers and end-users consumed to deepen their technical expertise. You understand how to support learning in a variety of mediums, from asynchronous AV-based to large, in-person group instruction.
Technical Product Marketing
You've developed collateral for improving the awareness and adoption of a product or platform, especially if you've done this at a large multinational corporation where you've grown internal adoption of an enterprise tool.
