Sr S&OP Program Manager, New FC Launch
Our Opportunity
Chewy is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager, New FC Launch, with working knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Transportation and S&OP to join our exciting and fast-paced team in Dania Beach, FL. The primary focus of the Senior Program Manager in this role is to own the roadmap for New FC Launch Program. Launching a new FC has a lot of moving parts that requires significant coordination between teams to ensure smooth execution. As the program manager you will seek to standardize FC launch processes and maintain a pulse on all developments that impact the network. The key responsibility of the program manager is to communicate and execute the network changes over time with the help of the stakeholders.
This role will require a collaborative mindset that is able to influence decisions cross-functionally and be able to relay appropriate information to the stakeholders within Supply Chain and FC Operations. Our ability to have the right products in the right place at the right time is critical to the continued growth of Chewy. Your work has a direct link to the organization's growth and transformation over time and plays a key role in growing the overall capabilities of the network. This role will have a significant impact on our overall business, and the right candidate will need to be ready to operate with a high degree of autonomy from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Cross Functional Coordination between the Network Topology, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, S&OP, Data Science, and FC Operations teams on planned updates to our fulfilment network
- Create a scalable and repeatable process for launching an FC. Activities for standard process should include generating simulations, sharing projections, ensuring processes like buy-ups, assortment, demand finalization are complete. Other technical details like master data gathering, and system setups, etc. should also be part of that plan
- Build and own the cross-functional roadmap of activities required to ensure the proper ramp up of an FC within accelerate timelines
- Build and own the cross-functional roadmap
- Collaborate with the Demand Planning, In-stock Management, Transportation, Supply Chain Execution & Planning (SCEP), and FC Operations teams to ensure that all planned activities are being performed in a timely manner
- Report up to leadership on the health and metrics important to successful execution of the established roadmap
- Communicate the FC ramp plan and organize activities to get stakeholders engaged on their respective areas from forecast, assortment, ordering, transportation, and FC operations
- Collaborate with various PMs in Supply Chain and IT, to ensure processes and capabilities required for FC Launch are present on their roadmap and will be available to launch the building on time
- Conduct execution meetings during ramp with stakeholders to ensure close coordination between teams
- Build long-term, sustainable, and scalable processes that ensure the Supply Chain strategy is successfully executed across all cross-functional teams
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
- Strong analytical skills including SQL and Advanced Excel, including the ability to pull data and use it to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management areas of Forecasting, Planning, Optimization or Logistics
- 4+ years of qualitative/quantitative data analysis related to Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, Logistics, or Inventory Management
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management in working with tech and non-tech teams or 7+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and communicating results to senior management
- Up to 10% travel required
Bonus
- MBA or Master of Science in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations disciplines
- Prior experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques
- Previous experience with Fulfilment Center or retail assortment planning
- Demonstrated ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Superior professional writing and communication skills
- Successful delivery of technology solutions
- E-commerce background a plus
