Current Need:

We are seeking a Sr Scrum Master who can direct teams, ensure that organization goals are attained, implement and monitor development processes, and report to senior management. Should demonstrate Agile management expertise, software development knowledge, communication and interpersonal abilities, leadership, proactivity and self-motivation.

Position Description:

  • This individual must be dedicated to the project and establish a periodic schedule of scrum and touchpoint meetings to facilitate team progress throughout the weekly/ bi-weekly Sprint cycle.
  • Scrum Master must employ certain techniques to the team and be a practitioner of Scrum best practices, organization and collaboration with the represented business areas and technical teams
  • Individual must continue to build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution or being judged with an emphasis on team and problem-solving.
  • Should have a good working knowledge of Scrum principles, practices and theory, as well as knowledge of patterns and techniques for filling the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (i.e. numerous Burndown technologies, Retrospective formats, processes in bugs and defects, minimal viable product approaches).
  • Individual should have experience with successful Agile techniques, such as User Stories, Storyboarding, User Review sessions, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Capacity Planning, Deployment planning, and execution, etc.
  • Individual should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with team members, Product Owner, stakeholders, project managers, and users. Leads the functional design process for complex solutions



Minimum Requirements:

Typically has 7+ years relevant experience.

Critical Skills:

  • Profound knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles Project Management principles and practices, extended experience running collaborative work according to Waterfall/ Agile/Scrum delivering a production-ready software solution
  • Experience in Atlassian Jira, Lean Kit usage for Agile projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to manage/lead groups of people and tasks simultaneously.
  • Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc.
  • Experience with Agile Management Tools and Processes.



Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience with an Agile implementation within an established organization
  • Experience with SDLC
  • Excellent relationship management skills demonstrating mature confidence and integrity
  • Scrum or PMP certifications



Education:

4-year degree
